Distinguished speakers

David Carvalho Martins is the managing partner of Littler Portugal, a law firm dedicated exclusively to Employment Law and a member of the international platform of Littler, the largest international firm in the area of Employment Law. He dedicates his activity to advising employers in all aspects of labour relations, including litigation and arbitration, serving as presiding arbitrator at the CES in determining minimum services in essential sectors. He maintains an academic link with ISEG.

Nuno Abranches Pinto is a partner at Littler Portugal and has over 20 years of experience in Employment Law. He is an Employment Law specialist lawyer recognized by the Bar Association and a lecturer at the Polytechnic of Leiria, where he obtained the academic title of specialist in the area. He is part of Littler’s coordinating committee for Directive (EU) 2023/970, regarding pay transparency, assisting clients in preparing for its application. He is the author of several publications and a regular speaker at conferences, training sessions, and seminars on Employment Law and Civil Procedural Law.
