Day 2 | Industry 5.0 and SME Success at the Addit3D BIEMH Exhibition

Yesterday, the Bilbao Exhibition Centre witnessed the strength and vitality of national innovation. The second day of activities focused on the Addit3d BIEMH Exhibition proved that our corporate framework is at the forefront of the technological revolution. AIDA CCI organised this successful mission within the scope of the strategic ExporTECH 5.0 project, designed to boost the cross-border presence of national brands.

This joint participation benefited from the support of the Innovation and Digital Transition Programme (COMPETE 2030) and the ERDF, under the MPr-2024-5 Notice (SICE – SME internationalisation – Joint operations). Yesterday’s outcome confirmed the significance of these incentives, with the stands of Critical Flow, Ecofloc, HS Tools, Safa Construções Eletromecânicas, and SOCEM recording huge attendance and interest from international buyers.

The concept of Industry 5.0 is based on the perfect harmonisation between cutting-edge technology, productive efficiency, and respect for environmental sustainability. It was precisely this symbiosis that the national delegation presented yesterday. The capacity of these organisations to respond to today’s global challenges placed Portugal at the centre of technological discussions at the Basque display.

Visitors were able to attest to the technical excellence across various disciplines. From advanced industrial solutions to additive manufacturing, encompassing new generation production technologies, the portfolio exhibited was vast and highly qualified. Added to these skills were millimetric precision in tools and moulds, as well as rigour in electromechanical constructions and assemblies, which are fundamental pillars for any modern production line.
