R&D+i Funding Session | Portugal, Castilla y León
On the 13th of March 2026, Zamora will host the R&D+i Funding Session | Portugal, Castilla y León. This strategic meeting is focused on funding opportunities for international collaboration between the Northern Region of Portugal and the Spanish region of Castilla y León, making it the ideal starting point for entities looking to boost innovation through European funds.
The initiative is part of the Centr@tec4 programme, promoted by the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León, and features valuable insights from the National Contact Points (NCPs) of the Centre for Technological Development and Innovation, alongside the framework of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) support services.
Focus on Horizon Europe 2026-2027 Calls
During the R&D+i Funding Session, upcoming European funding opportunities will be analysed in detail, specifically:
- Cluster 4: Space
- Cluster 5: Mobility, Transport, and Aeronautics
Competitive Advantages and Pitch Session
Participants will have the unique opportunity to learn about cross-border cooperation support services provided by EEN and join structured networking sessions. As a highly valuable addition, interested entities may deliver a 10-minute Pitch to showcase their capabilities and interests in European programmes to potential partners.

The session is aimed at innovation-driven companies, universities, and research centres interested in actively participating in European projects.
