Workshop on Remanufacturing and Innovation in Industry
Workshop: Remanufacturing and Innovation in Industry
On October 15th, AIDA CCI will hold the Workshop on “Remanufacturing and Innovation in Industry”. This event takes place within the framework of the REMAIN project – Robotic REMAnufacturing of deformable INdustrial products, co-financed by the Interreg Sudoe Programme through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The initiative focuses on promoting sustainability in sectors such as footwear, textiles, and furniture, which are characterized by products with short life cycles and low costs, leading to significant waste generation. The REMAIN project aims to introduce remanufacturing as a viable business model to reduce waste and environmental impact.
The project consortium is led by INESCOP (Spanish Footwear Technology Centre) and includes partners such as AIDA CCI, the Spanish Federation of Footwear Industries (FICE), universities, and companies from Spain and France.
