Annual Meeting of EEN Portugal
AIDA CCI participated in the Annual Meeting of EEN Portugal, held on June 16 and 17 in the city of Porto. The event included a review of the current programme (2022–2025) and set the stage for the next activity cycle, planned for the 2025–2028 period.
Strengthened national collaboration
Over two intensive days, synergies were shared among members of the Portuguese consortium of the Enterprise Europe Network, which includes the following entities: ACIF-CCIM, AEP, AIDA, AIP, ANI, CCIPD, CEC-CCIC, INESC TEC and LNEG, coordinated by IAPMEI. This joint effort reinforced the commitment to providing close support to SMEs in their internationalisation and innovation processes.
European perspectives and global challenges
The event also welcomed representatives from DG Grow and the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA). Both national and European speakers highlighted the current global economic context, heavily influenced by market volatility, geopolitical tensions, climate change, and disruptive technological advances.
Faced with this complex scenario, the strategic importance of the Enterprise Europe Network was reaffirmed, playing a vital role in supporting companies by providing specialised information, strategic partnerships, and funding opportunities.
An active network for SME growth
The meeting was also an excellent opportunity to present achievements, success stories, and best practices from the EEN Portugal consortium, emphasising the network’s motto: “collaborative, active, and dedicated to driving sustainable SME growth”.
AIDA CCI will continue working closely with consortium partners to expand the positive impact of the network on the local, national, and European economy.
