Aveiro2World Strengthens Internationalization of the TICE Cluster with a Prospecting Visit to SEMICON Europa 2025

As part of the Aveiro2World project, AIDA CCI conducted a prospecting visit to SEMICON Europa 2025, one of the most important international trade fairs dedicated to semiconductors, microelectronics, and advanced production systems. This initiative’s main objective was to identify business opportunities and strategic partnerships for companies in the TICE (Information, Communication, and Electronics Technologies) Cluster of the Aveiro Region.

A Strategic Mission for Regional Competitiveness

The presence at SEMICON Europa 2025 allowed for the evaluation of emerging trends in a sector critical for European competitiveness. Throughout the visit, the AIDA CCI representative contacted exhibitors, international entities, and governmental institutions, and attended sessions dedicated to topics such as advanced packaging, AI, and sustainability.

Identifying Opportunities and Enhancing Visibility

The prospecting visit enhanced the international visibility of the technological competencies existing in the Aveiro region. The information gathered will be fundamental for developing future internationalization actions, helping to consolidate Aveiro’s position as an innovative ecosystem attentive to the global dynamics of the electronics industry. The Aveiro2World project, co-financed by CENTRO2030, Portugal 2030, and the European Union, will continue to promote actions that enhance the connection of the region’s companies to key international markets.
