AIDA CCI Invites Companies to Contribute to the Ecodesign Guide for Sustainable Products
AIDA CCI – Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the District of Aveiro invites companies from the textile and furniture sectors to share their contributions for the development of the Ecodesign Guide for Sustainable Products, in compliance with European Regulation 2024/1781. This initiative is part of the REMAIN Project, which aims to promote the repair, remanufacturing, and reuse of products.

This Guide will compile practical guidelines for developing products that are easier to repair, disassemble, and reuse, in line with the objectives of the European Green Deal. About the REMAIN Project
The REMAIN Project is a European initiative under the Interreg Sudoe Program, co-financed by the ERDF. It brings together nine partners from Spain, France, and Portugal, including AIDA CCI, and aims to transform how industrial products are reused through robotic remanufacturing. The project seeks to overcome the technological challenges faced by traditional sectors like textiles and furniture by developing innovative robotic systems capable of disassembling and preparing used products for new industrial use.
