EU Survey on Unfair Agri-Food Practices (09/2024)
AIDA CCI, as a representative of the Enterprise Europe Network in the Aveiro region, invites companies to participate in the EU Survey on Unfair Agri-Food Practices, a public consultation launched by the European Commission under the framework of Directive (EU) 2019/633 on unfair trading practices in the agricultural and food supply chain.
Purpose of the Consultation
This initiative aims to assess the actual impact of the Directive during its initial years of implementation, gathering input from companies and stakeholders directly involved in the agri-food sector. The consultation will help the European Commission evaluate the effectiveness of current rules and identify opportunities for improvement to ensure fairer and more transparent practices throughout the supply chain.
Importance for the Sector
Active participation from businesses is crucial to ensure that future European policies reflect the realities of the market and the challenges faced by economic operators, especially smaller producers and suppliers.
Deadline for Participation
The questionnaire is available for submission until 23 October 2024.
