European Consultation on Construction Services in the Single Market (03/2025)
AIDA CCI, as the representative entity of the Enterprise Europe Network in the Aveiro region, invites companies to participate in an important public consultation promoted by the European Commission. The objective is to gather feedback on the obstacles encountered in the provision of construction and installation services within the European Single Market.
A Strategic Initiative for the Construction Sector
Construction and installation services are essential for the economic and infrastructural development of the European Union. However, their integration into the single market remains limited. About 90% of companies in this sector operate exclusively in their home country, due to barriers such as differing regulations between Member States, complex certifications, and burdensome administrative procedures.
Purpose of the Consultation
This survey aims to identify the main hurdles hindering cross-border business operations, contributing to the formulation of future measures under the Single Market Strategy.
Deadline for Participation
The survey is available until April 3, 2025. Your participation is fundamental to represent the interests of the Portuguese business sector before European institutions.
