The project Modular Training for Employed and Unemployed Individuals, promoted by AIDA CCI under the Operational Programme for Social Inclusion and Employment (POISE) and funded by the European Social Fund (ESF), aims to enhance employability and improve qualifications of the active population in the Northern Region. This initiative, which took place between January 2021 and December 2022, targeted both employed and unemployed individuals, offering them certified modular training.
The project was structured to meet the qualification needs of workers, promoting sustainability and quality employment. The training covered a total of 1,525 hours, benefiting 799 employed and 102 unemployed individuals, with the goal of increasing their adaptability to changes in the labour market. Furthermore, the project fostered the development of professional skills aligned with current market demands, improving employability and worker mobility.
This modular training initiative had a total eligible cost of €166,318.94, fully funded by the ESF, and is part of a strategy to equip workers in Portugal’s Northern Region to adapt to new business dynamics and ensure greater employment stability.
