StartUP Voucher: Notice of Call 2025-02
AIDA CCI informs that IAPMEI has officially published the Notice of Call 2025-02 for the StartUP Voucher program. This application phase, open until January 30, 2026, aims to select the best technology-based projects led by young graduates in the North, Center, and Alentejo regions.
Within the scope of Portugal 2030 initiatives, this specific notice reinforces the commitment to qualifications and youth employment. The goal is to financially support the initial risk period (idea phase), allowing promoters to dedicate themselves exclusively to developing innovative, digital, and sustainable solutions.
Specific Conditions of Notice 2025-02
This notice defines strict eligibility and operational rules. Applications must be submitted through the IAPMEI electronic platform and follow this schedule:
- Opening: November 3, 2025.
- Closing: January 30, 2026 (until 18:00).
- Formalization: Online submission of the form, with no possibility of subsequent changes.
Endowment and Financial Incentives
Projects approved under Notice 2025-02 will have access to a package of non-reimbursable financial incentives for a period of 9 months:
- Monthly Grant: €900 per eligible promoter (maximum 2 grants per project), paid monthly.
- Interim Prizes: €1,500 awarded at the beginning of the 2nd and 3rd phases of the project.
- Completion Prize: €2,000 awarded after the creation of the company or self-employment (deadline of 6 months after the end of the program).
Notice Evaluation Criteria
Candidate selection for this call will be based on a strict hierarchy (scale of 1 to 5). Promoters should pay special attention to criteria with the highest weight in the final weighting:
- C1) Degree of Idea Innovation (15%): Original solutions or significant improvements with technological viability.
- C2) Market Need (15%): Clear identification of the target audience and demand level.
- C10) Pitch (15%): Video presentation (maximum 3 minutes) where the team demonstrates the value proposition, innovation, and execution capacity.
Other relevant criteria include Growth Potential (10%), Work Plan (10%), and Relevance of Team Skills (10%).
Who can apply for this Notice?
Notice of Call 2025-02 is exclusively intended for teams (2 to 5 members) with at least one grant candidate who cumulatively meets the following:
- Age up to 29 years old (inclusive);
- Bachelor’s degree or higher;
- Not working, studying, or in training;
- Tax residence in the NUTS II North, Center, or Alentejo regions;
- Absence of other sources of income.
