Notice MPR-2026-01 | Energy Efficiency & Decarbonisation Funding
Notice MPR-2026-01 has been published under the Climate and Energy Transition Incentive System. This measure aims to support operations that reduce energy consumption and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions in companies.
In a context of increasing demand for sustainability and cost competitiveness, this call represents a strategic opportunity for the modernization of the business fabric. The support focuses on the replacement, adaptation, or introduction of low-carbon equipment, processes, and technologies, and may also include the incorporation of renewable energy sources as a complementary measure.
Notice Details (General Regime)
This call targets companies of any size (SMEs and Large Companies) operating in tradable and internationalisable sectors. The goal is to accelerate the transition to a carbon-neutral economy.
Key Conditions:
- FEDER Budget: €165 Million
- Maximum Co-financing Rate: 85%
- Minimum Investment: €400,000 of eligible expense
- Application Deadline (Phase 1): Until February 27, 2026
- Operation Duration: Up to 24 months
Eligible Investment Typologies
Individual operations aimed at energy efficiency (interventions in buildings and production processes) and decarbonisation are funded. Practical examples include:
Energy Efficiency (Production Process)
- Optimization of motors, turbines, and pumping/ventilation systems (e.g., variable speed drives).
- Optimization of compressed air systems.
- Replacement or alteration of furnaces, boilers, and injectors.
- Heat/cold recovery and waste heat utilization (industrial symbiosis).
- Energy management, monitoring, and control systems.
Energy Efficiency (Buildings) and Renewables
- Integrated renewable equipment for self-consumption (photovoltaic, heat pumps).
- Energy storage (requiring energy from renewable sources).
- Building digitalization, green roofs, and rainwater harvesting.
Decarbonisation and Environmental Protection
- Replacement of fossil fuel equipment with electric equipment (electrification).
- Use of alternative fuels derived from non-fossil waste.
- Incorporation of alternative/renewable or low-carbon footprint raw materials.
