Emprego + Digital

AIDA CCI is promoting the Emprego + Digital project, which aims to train employees of companies and social economy organisations to meet the challenges of Digital Transformation. This project is part of the Emprego + Digital 2025 programme, a strategic initiative to improve digital skills and adaptability among workers to meet new technological demands essential for the digital transition.

The Emprego + Digital project, running from October 2024 to September 2025, targets currently employed individuals and aims to increase their qualifications, preparing them to face automation and other technological innovations that directly impact the job market. AIDA CCI is leading this effort in the Central Region, offering a significant volume of training: a total of 10,929.00 hours. The goal is to train 767 participants, with total funding of €80,310.48.

The main mission of this project is to equip workers with digital skills that enable them to meet the increasing demands of the market, avoiding the risk of unemployment caused by task automation. This focus on recovery and resilience is supported by the RRP (Recovery and Resilience Plan), with IEFP as the final beneficiary — an initiative aimed at fostering sustainable growth and the creation of qualified employment.

In addition to improving digital competencies, Emprego + Digital has a direct impact on business sustainability, as the reskilling of workers contributes to job longevity and helps reduce disparities in the labour market. By raising the digital proficiency of workers with lower qualifications, the project promotes greater equity and prepares companies to compete in an increasingly digital and globalised economy.

Ultimately, this project plays a key role in helping companies adapt to new technological realities while promoting digital inclusion and enhancing Portugal’s competitiveness on the international stage.
