Modular Training – Central Region
The project “Modular Training – Central Region“, promoted by AIDA CCI, under the Operational Programme for Social Inclusion and Employment (POISE), has the central goal of enhancing the employability of the active population. This project aims to meet the qualification needs of both employed and unemployed individuals, equipping them with the skills demanded by today’s labour market.
With support from the European Social Fund (ESF), the project ran from January 2021 to December 2022, offering a total of 5,525 hours of training to 1,190 employed trainees and 510 unemployed trainees. Through this certified modular training, participants accessed content focused on adapting to changes in the labour market, preparing them for new demands and opportunities. The goal is clear: to increase workers’ adaptability and ensure that their qualifications align with the needs of businesses and the corporate sector.
The training actions aimed to promote employment sustainability and job quality, strengthening the professional skills of participants—whether to improve the performance of those already employed or to boost the employability of the unemployed, making them more competitive in the market. This project effectively addresses the need for adaptation to change by both workers and companies.
With a total eligible cost of €332,433.89, fully funded, the project represents a strategic response to strengthen professional skills and ensure greater employability in Central Portugal.
